Capturing some of the beauty of God’s creation has become a quest of mine since retiring from my position as a chaplain at Rush Medical Center in Chicago in 2008 and as Priest-In-Charge at a little Episcopal parish in Miller Beach, Indiana, in 2011. I had long used photography as a means of recording events in the life of my family, but after we moved to St. George, Utah, in June of 2013, landscape photography in Western North American became my passion. I marvel over creation on this side of the United States and Canada, which is so totally different from the Midwest, where I’ve lived for most of my life. My husband, the love of my life, Paul Wiens, and I began to travel in our RV with the purpose of visiting the National Parks in this part of the country. We incorporate his love of hiking and my love of photography as we travel. My goal for this website is to share with you, “Glimpses of God’s Glory,” through my photographs, making all who see them mindful of the Glory of God.
By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth.
